Torre Vado serenely rests on the slopes at the foot of a group of joyful hills that gently run down to the sea, on the Ionic Coast between Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca. It is an enchanting setting which offers a beach that is defined to be undoubtedly one of the most beautiful that the Salento Region can ever boast of. Its coast is low and ragged, at times rocky but mostly sandy, with very fine, golden sand caressed by clear and crystal emerald green waters. It is easy to reach, and is embellished with abundant Mediterranean greens: the savage bush and the evergreen olive. But besides this rare and precious natural cocktail, this land holds in its custody numberless historical, archaeological and artistic artefacts, first among which are found just an hour away in Lecce, a splendid city renowned in all of Italy for its valuable architecture.
